- Upload your work authorization documents online
- Note: You must complete this before your pre-hire appointment, or it will be cancelled
- Upload a photo of yourself to create your employee badge
- Watch the job preview video

Refer to your email or pre-hire checklist to confirm if your 30-minute appointment is virtual or in-person. Be sure to upload all necessary documents prior to your appointment.

- If your appointment is virtual, join the video call by following the instructions from your pre-hire checklist email
Complete your employment documents
You’re almost there! Just a few final steps to make it official:
- Review schedule details via email and accept your formal job offer
- Complete employment paperwork (e.g. Terms of Employment, etc). You must sign these to be hired.
- Pick up your safety shoes
- Download and set up your Amazon A to Z account

Welcome to Day 1! Here’s your checklist for success
- Check your start date, start time, and site location on your Amazon Jobs account.
- Bring a government-issued photo ID (e.g. driver’s license or passport) or school ID with photo
- You must wear your safety shoes
- Don’t wear jackets or hooded sweatshirts
- Avoid long necklaces and hoop earrings
- Keep long hair pulled up or in a ponytail

What is the status of my job offer?
Check the status of your offer by logging in to your candidate account at hiring.amazon.ca/login. Your application(s) and the status will be found on the left side of the page with the 'Go to my jobs' button. Or, choose the 'My jobs' option from 'My Account' dropdown in the upper right corner.
How do I reschedule my pre-hire appointment?
A pre-hire appointment is your initial appointment after you have applied. To reschedule your pre-hire appointment, follow the steps below. You don’t need to contact us. You can reschedule your appointment from your job page.
- Log into your candidate account at hiring.amazon.ca
- Click 'Go to my jobs' in the upper left, choose 'Prepare for your Appointment' and find the job you’re applying for
- This will display your pre-hire checklist for this job
- At the top of the screen, you’ll see a banner with the date and time for your pre-hire appointment
- To reschedule your appointment, click the ‘Reschedule’ link next to ‘Can’t attend at this time?’
- Now you can review the available appointments that allow you to keep the same shift and start date (Day 1) schedule

What documents do I need to bring to the pre-hire appointment?

How do I reschedule my first day?
Your start date is your orientation date after you’ve already attended your pre-hire appointment. Note: We can’t guarantee that your same shift or any shifts will be available once you change or cancel your current shift. If you have attended your pre-hire appointment, your shift can be changed after your background check and drug test are completed.

- Log into your candidate account at hiring.amazon.ca
- Choose the 'Go to my jobs' button on the upper left of the screen. Then locate the position you are applying for.
- Click on the 3 dots next to 'View Progress'. Then click ‘Change my Shift or Start Date’.
- On the next page, you can review your current shift and start date. If you still want to change this selection, click ‘Change schedule and start date'. Then click ‘CLICK HERE' to select a new shift and start date.
- The next page will show you all available shifts for the locations in which you have applied. Update your preferences and review the options.
- Click ‘SELECT’ next to the shift that you prefer
- Review the Job and Shift Details. If you want this shift, click ‘Select this job and schedule' and 'Confirm’.
- Your application will now be updated to the new shift.
Please keep an eye on your inbox for an email confirming your first day onsite. If there are no shifts available, new shifts are typically added Friday through Monday. If you want to remove your current shift and start date, click ‘Cancel Shift’. We can’t guarantee there will be the same or any shift currently available once you cancel your scheduled shift. Please note that once new shifts are available, they are first come, first served. If you receive a call stating new shifts have been posted, log on to select your shift ASAP.
